City of Pico Rivera earns Platinum Energy Award

The City of Pico Rivera is proud to end 2025 with another major milestone: receiving the Platinum Energy Award from the Gateway Cities Council of Governments for the second year in a row!

This honor recognizes our City as a regional leader in energy efficiency and sustainability among 27 Gateway Cities.

From Silver (2021) to Gold (2022–23) to Platinum (2024–25), this achievement reflects the hard work of our community and leadership from the Office of Sustainability and PRIME—through initiatives like our Climate Action & Adaptation Plan, Tree Adoption Program, and PRIME Power Choice solar program.

Together, we’re building a healthier, more resilient future. Let’s keep the momentum going!
